I LOVE THIS MOVIE TOO! One time I had a friend from out of town staying with me and we were watching it, and a bunch of my roommate's hipster friends came over. We totally thought they were going to make fun of us for watching Mary Poppins, but they kept running into the living room saying things like, "Oh MAN, I love this part" in a legitimately excited way. They ended up watching most of it with us
I've see this movie SO many times it borders on obsessive behaviour. Love it!
