Your grandmother looked stunning on her special day! That dress was divine! I wore a vintage mid-1960s wedding dress on my day (it was my mother-in-law's). I got married 15 years ago (May 5th 1996) and when I was looking for dresses, I searched in vain for vintage styling in modern dresses and luckily my mother-in-law's could be taken in and refurbished. My mother's dress, however, was too tiny! There was no way it could be let out! She is 5'1 and weighed 88 pounds when she married my dad!
I don't think my Grandma was even 5 feet tall, and I'm almost 6 feet so I wouldn't be able to wear any of her vintage stuff, even if it was still around.Oh well. And happy anniversary Tara!
